obskure abstrusitäten

i just fell in love with some pictures of nanjing...(though i've only been there once for one day and can't remember anything but the sun yat-sen memorial)

i think the reason why i like those pictures, is because they remind me of my childhood photos. not actually of my childhood memories - they are a bit too blurred - but of looking at old pictures together with my mum and grandmum. summer in beijing seemed so idyllic back then.
